Setting up your own publishing house

The year 2005 marked an important milestone in the development of the university’s academic infrastructure, at that time operating as the Higher School of Finance and Management in Warsaw. The university’s own academic publishing house, VIZJA PRESS & IT, was established, becoming an institutional tool for disseminating research findings, monographs, academic textbooks and collective works produced by the university’s staff and collaborating authors.​

The establishment of the publishing house was a strategic decision – it enabled the systematic development of the institution’s publishing output, the growth of the academic community and the strengthening of the institution’s academic identity. Having its own publishing house allowed the university to become independent of external entities and to consistently develop its research activities.
