The year 2019 marked one of the most significant organisational milestones in the university’s history. The Warsaw School of Economics and Humanities relocated to the modern VIZJA Park campus at 59 Okopowa Street in Warsaw’s Wola district. This decision signified not only a change of location, but above all the creation of a cohesive academic space, integrating teaching, research and student life in one place.
VIZJA Park was designed as a multifunctional urban campus, combining modern lecture theatres, specialist laboratories, co-working spaces and administrative facilities. Its central location in Warsaw, well-developed transport infrastructure and flexible teaching spaces have enabled the further development of the educational offering and improved the student experience. The campus has become a symbol of a new era – a modern, dynamic university open to collaboration with the wider socio-economic community.
The year 2019 also marked the completion of structural integration. Both of the previous institutions—the Warsaw School of Finance and Management and the Warsaw School of Information Technology—were formally incorporated into the Warsaw School of Economics and Humanities, streamlining the organisational structure and strengthening institutional cohesion. This process enabled the consolidation of academic and teaching potential and the building of a single, strong academic brand.
In the same year, Dr Konrad Janowski, a psychologist and researcher who had been associated with the university for many years, took up the post of rector. His academic work focuses on clinical psychology and health, and his academic experience encompasses both research and organisational activities. As rector, he has prioritised the development of academic potential, internationalisation and the consistent improvement of teaching quality.
Dr Konrad Janowski continues to serve as rector of VIZJA University, pursuing the university’s development strategy towards becoming a strong, modern and responsible academic institution with a growing national and international standing.
