The year 2024 marked one of the most significant milestones in the development of VIZJA University in terms of spatial investments and strategic partnerships. In the 2024/25 academic year, the university opened new teaching and laboratory facilities at the Wiśniowy Business Park complex in Warsaw, which support the education of students in medical and health sciences, creating a modern environment conducive to learning, practical training and collaboration with the wider community and business sector.
At the same time, the university opened an educational space in the Babka Tower on Aleja Jana Pawła II in Warsaw. The new campus enables classes to be held in specialist studios and workshop rooms, particularly in design and creative fields, which enhances the study experience and supports an interdisciplinary teaching approach.
This year also saw a strategic strengthening of VIZJA University’s research capacity through the establishment of the VIZJA University Scientific Federation – a platform for scientific collaboration created in partnership with the Andrzej Frycz Modrzewski University in Kraków as a participating institution. The Federation develops scientific activities, provides doctoral training and enables the awarding of academic degrees across a wide range of disciplines, which significantly expands the research and academic opportunities of both universities.

Obtaining the Federation’s authorisation to award doctoral degrees in these disciplines represents a significant strengthening of VIZJA University’s position within the Polish higher education and research system — it enables the university to deliver doctoral-level education in interdisciplinary and key areas of science, whilst also increasing the institution’s presence in international research projects and publications.
In 2024, VIZJA University (then the Academy of Economics and Humanities in Warsaw) honoured the first person in its history with an honorary doctorate. This title, awarded by universities to individuals who have rendered outstanding service to science, culture and social life, was conferred upon Prof. Andrzej Jacek Blikle – an eminent Polish computer scientist, mathematician, entrepreneur and social activist with a wide-ranging academic and practical legacy. The formal ceremony to present the honorary degree took place 7 November 2024 in the Main Hall of the VIZJA Park campus and was attended by a large gathering of university officials, staff, students and distinguished guests.
Prof. Blikle, recognised not only for his academic achievements in mathematics and computer science but also for his contribution to the development of quality management concepts and organisational practices, delivered an inspiring lecture during the ceremony. The conferral of the honorary doctorate marked an important moment in the university’s history – a confirmation of VIZJA University’s academic achievements and its aspirations to be part of the international scientific and social community.
